Hermitage 2nd Floor Buildout

Hermitage 2nd Floor Buildout

What is this Build Out?

Students from our Advanced Career Education (ACE) Center programs are working side-by-side with local skilled trades professionals to build out the 2nd Floor of the ACE Center at Hermitage.

This transformation is driven by demand. With the urgent need for a health care and Trades workforce, the buildout will help us get more students credentialed and experienced in both career paths. The construction of the ACE Center at Hermitage purposefully left this space unfinished to provide Trades students with the experience of working on a non-residential building site.

The build-out will happen in two phases. Phase 1 begins in April 2025 and is to be completed by December 2025 (13,200 sq. ft.) Phase 2 launches in January 2026 to be completed by September 2026 (15,850 sq. ft.)

Our business relies on a skilled workforce. Can we get involved?

Yes! There are so many ways to assist with this project, and every one of them helps better prepare our students for the workforce.

Donate materials: Have some extra building materials on hand? Don’t toss those extra nails, we’ll take them! Or loan us an interesting tool for a day that our students may not have had the opportunity to use.

Donate time: Lend us labor by shadowing our students and letting them work and learn side-by-side with your technicians and craftsmen and women. These relationships are life-changing for our students.
